Shipping Policy
This page explains how JK Shipping LLC handles shipping container delivery for all orders placed through our website. All containers are transported by flatbed truck — not parcel or courier carriers. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms outlined below..
How Shipping Container Delivery Works
All shipping container delivery at JK Shipping LLC is carried out by flatbed truck, rollback trailer, or tilt-bed vehicle.
We do not dispatch any container until:
- Your delivery address has been confirmed
- Site access has been reviewed and approved
- A delivery window has been agreed with you directly
Order Processing and Handling Information
Processing Time: 1–2 business days
Operating Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (CST)
Contact After Order: A member of our team will call you within 1 business day to begin arranging delivery
All orders received after business hours or on weekends and holidays will be processed on the next business day.
Delivery Lead Times
Delivery timelines for containers are longer than standard retail due to the specialist freight and logistics involved.
Standard Delivery: 7–21 business days from order confirmation and delivery scheduling
Lead times may vary depending on your location, site access conditions, and carrier availability in your area. Delays caused by weather, road conditions, or access issues at the delivery site are outside our control.
Total lead time = Order processing (1–2 business days) + Freight transit and scheduling (7–21 business days)
Delivery Cost
Delivery costs vary based on your location and the size of the container ordered. A confirmed delivery cost will be provided to you before your order is processed.
- Delivery is not charged at a flat rate — costs depend on distance and equipment required
- All delivery charges will be confirmed with you in writing before dispatch
- If we are unable to deliver to your location, we will notify you promptly and arrange a full refund
Site Access Requirements
To ensure a smooth and safe delivery, please confirm the following before your delivery date:
- Access width: Minimum 14 feet of clear width for the delivery vehicle
- Ground conditions: Level or near-level surface at the intended placement point
- Overhead clearance: No cables, branches, or structures below 14 feet along the delivery route
- Recipient on site: You or an authorised representative must be present to accept delivery and sign the delivery receipt
If site access requirements cannot be met on the agreed delivery date, a redelivery fee may apply.
Order Tracking and Delivery Confirmation
Once your delivery has been scheduled with a carrier, you will receive:
- Your carrier’s contact details and reference number
- An estimated delivery window (typically a half-day or full-day window)
Please note that container deliveries are coordinated through specialist freight carriers. Delivery references operate differently from standard parcel tracking.
Order Changes and Cancellations
If you need to modify or cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible after placing it. Once a delivery has been booked with a carrier, cancellations may be subject to a logistics fee. Please refer to our Return and Refund Policy for full details.
Shipping Restrictions
- Service area: We deliver within the continental United States only
- We do not deliver to P.O. boxes, APO/FPO addresses, or outside the US
- We reserve the right to refuse or limit orders where delivery is not safely achievable
Policy Changes
We may update or modify this Shipping Policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes will take effect immediately upon publication on our website. We encourage customers to review this policy before placing an order.
