If nothing here fits the job, these are the closest alternatives — plus the reference pages people read before ordering.

Container pools: what actually arrives

A container pool is a shipping container shell that has been cut, lined, sealed and finished at the factory. It turns up as one piece — you are not converting anything on site. Ours are built from corten weathering steel with a black finish and a 4ft water depth across the 20ft, 30ft and 40ft sizes, and the 40ft is available with a reinforced acrylic viewing panel.

Choosing a length

At 4ft deep the whole length is usable, so length is really a question of what you want to do in it. A 20ft is a plunge and cool-off pool for two or three people. A 30ft gives you enough run for lengths at a relaxed pace. A 40ft is a genuine lap pool and is the size to pick if swimming rather than sitting is the point.

Site preparation

A filled pool is heavy, and unlike a storage container the load is spread along the whole base rather than through four corner castings. That means a properly level, compacted and load-bearing base — a reinforced slab or engineered piers — designed for the filled weight, not the empty one. Decide early where the pump and filtration will sit and how power and water will reach it, since that determines which end the plant connects to. Placement is by crane or tilt-bed depending on the site, so keep the approach clear. Delivery is a flat $500 per order.
