Shipping Container FAQ — Container Conditions
What does “One Trip” mean?
A One-Trip container has made a single journey from the manufacturer — typically in China — to a US port. It is used once to transport goods and is considered new condition. One-Trip units typically have clean steel walls, minimal surface marks, a sound wooden floor, and no rust or structural repairs.
What is a “Cargo-Worthy” container?
A Cargo-Worthy (CW) container has been inspected and certified as structurally sound and suitable for transporting goods internationally. It will show signs of use — surface rust, minor dents, paint wear — but is wind and watertight and meets international shipping standards. CW units are a solid, cost-effective option for storage, site use, or continued shipping.
What is a “Wind and Watertight” container?
A Wind and Watertight (WWT) container is a used unit that is structurally sound and weatherproof, but has not been formally certified for continued international shipping. WWT containers are ideal for on-site storage, workshop conversions, or any application where a shipping certification is not required.
What is a High Cube container?
A High Cube container is one foot taller than a standard container. A standard unit is 8 feet 6 inches in external height (approximately 7 feet 10 inches internally). A High Cube is 9 feet 6 inches externally (approximately 8 feet 10 inches internally). The extra headroom makes High Cube units popular for office conversions, storage of tall equipment, and residential projects.
Delivery and Site Access
How is my container delivered?
All containers are delivered by flatbed truck, rollback trailer, or tilt-bed vehicle — not by a standard courier or parcel carrier. After your order is placed, a member of our team will call you within 1 business day to confirm your delivery address, discuss site access, and agree a delivery window.
What site access do I need?
Please confirm the following before booking your delivery:
- Clear access width: Minimum 14 feet wide for the delivery vehicle
- Ground conditions: Level or near-level surface at the intended container placement point
- Overhead clearance: No cables, branches, or structures below 14 feet along the delivery route
- Someone on site: You or an authorised representative must be present to accept delivery and sign the receipt

How long does delivery take?
Standard lead time is 7 to 21 business days from order confirmation and delivery scheduling. Lead times vary based on your location and carrier availability. We will confirm your estimated delivery window when we contact you after your order is placed.
Do you deliver outside Alabama?
Yes. We deliver throughout the continental United States. Delivery costs are quoted separately based on your location and container size. Contact us at +1 (251) 247-6208 before ordering if you would like a delivery estimate for your location first.
Can I collect a container instead of having it delivered?

Ordering and Payment
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept major credit and debit cards including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover, processed securely through our payment provider. Bank wire transfer is available for orders over $5,000 with prior phone verification.
Can I cancel my order?
You may cancel your order free of charge within 24 hours of placing it, provided a delivery carrier has not yet been booked. Cancellations after carrier booking may incur a logistics fee. See our Return and Refund Policy for full details.
Is my payment information secure?
Yes. All card payments are processed through our payment provider using industry-standard SSL encryption. We do not store your full card details on our systems.
Container Specifications
What sizes do you stock?
Our standard range includes 10ft, 20ft, and 40ft containers in a range of configurations including standard height, High Cube, and refrigerated units. We also stock purpose-built units including site offices, portable bathrooms, and flat-pack cabins. Visit our Shop for the full current range.
What is included with the container?
Standard containers include the container unit with cargo doors, lockbox, and forklift pockets. Locks are not included unless stated on the product listing. Please check individual product listings for full specifications and inclusions.
Do your containers come with a warranty?
One-Trip containers come with a structural integrity guarantee. Used containers are sold in the condition described on the product listing — any known defects are disclosed before sale. If a container arrives in a condition materially different from what was described, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos and we will work to resolve it.
