Critical electrical note: This unit is wired to a 400V 32A external connection with a 400V main switch — European three-phase voltage. Standard US residential and light commercial supply (120V single-phase or 240V split-phase) is not compatible. The internal 230V sockets and circuit breakers also reflect European voltage standards. Buyers must confirm that a compatible 400V three-phase supply is available at their site, or discuss voltage conversion options with a licensed industrial electrician, before ordering this unit.

The glazing system features 5+9A+5mm double safety glass — a laminated double-glazed unit with a 9mm argon or air cavity between two 5mm toughened glass panes, providing thermal insulation, sound reduction, and safety performance exceeding single-pane glazing. Secure shutters are fitted to all windows for overnight security and privacy. The window configuration comprises three long-side windows (1,787mm × 1,055mm each), one front window (1,894mm × 1,055mm), and one rear tilt window (885mm × 1,000mm) for ventilation without full opening. A wicket door — a small personnel door cut into the main door panel — provides access without opening the full container door.

The wall and roof construction uses 60mm rock wool insulation between the COR-TEN steel outer shell and an inner skin of 0.5mm galvanised steel panels, finished internally with 9mm chipboard for a clean, paintable surface. Rock wool provides both thermal and acoustic insulation — the 60mm thickness provides meaningful noise reduction suitable for an observation or gatehouse context where external noise management is a practical requirement. The 2.5kW split-level air conditioning unit provides heating and cooling year-round, with the exterior condenser unit fitted with a perforated plate cover designed for offshore and exposed outdoor environments.
