This 10ft cut-down shipping container is a modified ex-shipping-line unit sold in Wind and Watertight (WWT) condition. WWT means the unit is structurally sound and weatherproof but has not been formally re-certified for international shipping. This container is for on-site storage use only — it does not carry a valid CSC plate and is not suitable for international freight. Expect surface wear and cosmetic marks consistent with prior shipping service.
The unit has been cut down from a full-size shipping container and structurally reinforced at the rear panels and corner posts to maintain rigidity after modification. Both the interior and exterior have been prepared and resprayed to improve weather resistance and corrosion protection. A fitted lockbox provides a recessed housing for a padlock that resists bolt cutter attack on the lock shackle.
Access is via standard double swing cargo doors at one end, fitted with locking bars and door seals. The floor is 28mm marine-grade plywood on steel cross members, rated for heavy loads and resistant to moisture from below.
At under 10ft in length, this unit fits locations where a standard 20ft container is impractical — narrow side passages, small yards, residential properties, and compact construction sites. It is not a factory-manufactured 10ft ISO container — it is a cut-down and reinforced modification of a larger unit, reflected in the external length of 9ft 10in rather than a true 10ft.
