Both units share identical dimensions, floor spec, steel gauge, and security features — the distinction is the exterior finish. The galvanized unit has a bare metallic finish that relies on the zinc coating for corrosion resistance. This powder-coated unit has an additional colored topcoat applied over the galvanized body, providing a choice of exterior color to match site branding, distinguish units by use type, or blend into a residential or commercial setting where a raw steel appearance is not suitable.
Specify your preferred color at time of order. Standard powder-coat colors include green for residential and garden use, but other colors are available — confirm the full color range with JK Shipping LLC before ordering. The powder-coat finish provides an additional layer of corrosion protection beyond the galvanized substrate, extending the unit’s service life in coastal, high-humidity, or chemically aggressive environments.
The unit ships flat-packed at a profile height of just 300mm — deliverable in a standard van or pickup truck — and is assembled on site using a socket set, with no crane or forklift required. The heaviest single component is 337 lbs (153 kg), so a small team is recommended for safe assembly. The double locking system is included as standard at no additional cost. The 15mm OSB board floor is rated to 2,000 kg evenly distributed — appropriate for tool chests, bagged materials, and stored equipment loaded across the full floor area. Built-in lifting eyes allow the assembled unit to be crane-lifted with cargo inside for relocation between positions without unloading.
