This 8ft one-trip shipping container green unit is built for tight-access placement — narrow driveways, rooftop terraces, and small yards where every inch of clearance counts. It is a compact, near-new unit that completed a single journey from the manufacturer in China to a US port before being offered for sale, in Green as delivered.
One-Trip condition means the interior walls, floor, and door seals are in near-new condition with minimal surface marks, giving new-container quality at a reduced price point. This is not a standard ISO 20ft or 40ft container — it’s a compact format sized for locations where a full-size unit is impractical.
Access is via double exterior hinged cargo doors, each fitted with an individual locking bar and a factory-fitted lockbox that recesses the padlock shackle against bolt cutter attack. Two forklift pockets let the unit be positioned and repositioned without extra rigging. The floor is 28mm marine-grade plywood reinforced by steel cross members — the same floor specification used in full-size ISO containers. A minimum of two vents manage interior moisture and reduce condensation during storage. The frame and panels are COR-TEN weathering steel, developing a surface oxide layer over time that resists corrosion without ongoing painting.
Note: the external width of this unit is 7ft 3in (2,200mm) — narrower than a standard 8ft ISO container, which is what makes it workable on tight driveways, side passages, and rooftop terraces where a full-width unit wouldn’t clear. Confirm clearance requirements at your site before ordering. For guidance on siting compact storage containers, refer to the International Code Council building standards reference.

Measuring Up Before You Order
The reason to buy this unit rather than a full-width one is clearance, so measure before you commit rather than after the truck is booked. Three numbers decide it. The narrowest pinch point on the route in — a gate post, a side passage, a pair of parked cars — needs to clear the 7ft 3in external width with room to work, not exactly 7ft 3in. The overhead: at 8ft 6in tall plus whatever it is sitting on during the lift, low branches, eaves, gutters and service drops are the usual surprise. The set-down: a forklift needs straight-on approach to the pockets, and a crane needs a swing path and a spotter. If the container is going somewhere a truck genuinely cannot reach at all, a flat pack unit that carries in by hand and bolts together on site is the honest alternative — it is not as strong, but it will get where this cannot.
