This 20ft container store is a brand-new standard height shipping container conversion — fully fitted and business-ready for retail, food service, event vending, and concession operations. Unlike our 20ft Container Shop — which is a smaller custom-dimension unit with integrated water systems — this unit is built on a full-size standard 20ft × 8ft × 8ft 6in ISO container base and is specified for retail, merchandise, and concession use rather than food preparation, with a fully itemised US-standard electrical installation, three commercial concession windows, and a finished interior ready for immediate fit-out.
The interior is framed with 2in × 4in wood studs at 16in centres — conventional US wall framing providing a solid substrate for insulation, panelling, and fixture attachment. Zone 3-rated batt insulation is installed between the studs, providing thermal efficiency rated for the climate conditions of the southern USA. Interior walls are finished in white board panelling for a clean retail aesthetic, with an 8ft × 8ft stainless steel accent panel providing a commercial-grade surface in the primary service area. The floor is epoxy-coated — stain-resistant, easy to clean, and durable under heavy daily foot traffic and equipment loads.
The electrical installation is fully completed to a 125-amp 12-slot outdoor breaker panel, with 4 × 110V duplex outlets, 2 × 24in LED overhead lights, 1 × exterior flood light, and 1 × Ethernet port for POS system, internet, and connectivity — covering the core operational requirements of a staffed retail or concession unit without additional electrical work beyond connecting the panel to an external power source. Three commercial concession windows are installed: two standard 48in × 36in aluminium alloy sliding screen windows with built-in awning doors and drag hooks, and one oversized 74in × 40in awning-style window with a double-point fork lock opening to 85 degrees. Glass is not included in the oversized window — the frame is installed and buyers must source and fit glass to their specification. A standard 36in commercial personnel entry door provides staff access.
