This 30ft used bulk open-top shipping container is an ex-shipping-line unit sold in Cargo Worthy (CW) condition — the superior grade to our 30ft Wind & Watertight bulk unit. Cargo Worthy condition means the container has been formally re-inspected and certified as fit for continued international freight service. It carries a valid CSC plate, confirming structural integrity, wind and watertight performance, and compliance with international shipping standards. Expect normal service wear — surface marks, minor dents, and paint weathering consistent with prior shipping use — but the unit has passed a documented inspection confirming it meets active freight requirements, not simply storage-grade weatherproofing.

The choice between this CW unit and the WWT unit comes down to intended use and certification requirements. If the container will be used for static on-site storage only, either grade is appropriate. If it will be used for continued international shipping, re-exported, or if your site or customer requires a valid CSC plate for insurance, compliance, or contractual reasons, this Cargo Worthy unit is the correct specification.

Like the WWT variant, this unit features a bulk-handling configuration distinguishing it from a standard dry freight container. In addition to standard exterior hinged double cargo doors, it includes top-opening lids and a front tipping hatch, making it practical for loading loose bulk materials from above or tipping out from the front. Each door panel is secured by two locking bars. Ventilation is available in either a 4-vent or 8-vent configuration — confirm your preference at time of order. The floor is 28mm marine plywood on steel cross-members, and two forklift pockets on each side allow for easy repositioning on site. The frame and cladding are Corten steel throughout.
