unit completed a single journey from the manufacturer to a US port before modification — the steel frame, floor, and remaining panels retain near-new integrity. The conversion replaces the entire long side of the container with full-height double-glazed sliding patio doors fitted with integral Venetian blinds, opening the interior to natural light while maintaining weatherproofing and thermal performance.

The interior is insulated with 50mm high-performance cavity wall insulation in the walls and
100mm loft-grade insulation in the ceiling — equivalent specification to residential wall and ceiling insulation standards — providing year-round thermal comfort without requiring supplementary heating in moderate climates. Wall surfaces are lined with 12.5mm plasterboard,
taped and ready for a skim coat or direct decoration. Note that the plasterboard is supplied unfinished — a skim coat, paint, or wall covering is not included and must be applied on site.

The electrical fit-out is flush-mounted throughout for a clean, professional finish. The installation includes three LED strip lights for even ceiling illumination, four double 13A power sockets, and two 32A isolators pre-wired for air conditioning unit connections. Air conditioning units are not included — the isolators allow a standard split-system AC unit to be connected by a licensed electrician on site without additional wiring works.

Structural note: The removal of the full long side panel is a significant structural modification. This unit cannot be stacked and is not suitable for re-use as a freight container.
