This 20ft used standard shipping container is a used ex-shipping-line unit in Wind and Watertight (WWT) condition, carefully selected from reputable former shipping lines and fully inspected before dispatch. WWT means the unit is structurally sound and weatherproof — it will keep wind and water out — but has not been formally re-certified for international shipping. It does not carry a valid CSC plate and is designed for on-site storage use. Expect normal service wear including minor dents, surface marks, and paint weathering consistent with prior shipping use — the unit is structurally intact and ready for immediate storage use on delivery.
The container is built from COR-TEN weathering steel throughout — frame, cladding, and corner castings — which develops a stable surface oxide layer that resists further corrosion in outdoor environments without ongoing maintenance. The floor is 28mm marine-grade plywood on steel cross-members, providing a stable, load-bearing surface for palletised goods, equipment, and bulk materials. Both cargo doors are fitted with two locking bars each for secure closure. Built-in vents promote passive airflow to reduce condensation buildup during storage.
An optional rub-down and RAL respray is available at additional cost — a practical upgrade for buyers who need the container to match site branding, fleet colours, or a specific aesthetic. Specify your preferred RAL colour at time of order if requesting this option.
