This 20ft high cube custom shipping container conversion is a new, built-to-order modular building on a high cube 20ft COR-TEN anti-corrosive steel container base — 9ft 6in external height versus the standard 8ft 6in — providing a full additional foot of internal headroom throughout the converted space. The high cube base is the preferred choice for residential use, hospitality units, creative studios, and any application where the extra vertical clearance improves comfort, allows taller interior fit-out elements such as mezzanine shelving or full-height kitchen units, or simply creates a more spacious feel within the same floor footprint.

The pictured example is finished in Anthracite Grey externally and white internally with chrome container handles, and features the same glazing and access configuration as our standard height version — a manual roller shutter door (2,000 × 1,000mm) with bullet locks, double-glazed anthracite grey French doors (2,000 × 2,200mm), a large fixed double-glazed window panel (2,100 × 2,200mm), and a high-line opening ventilation window (1,800 × 400mm). In the high cube configuration, the additional 1ft of wall height above the French door header gives the facade a more imposing profile — particularly effective for hospitality, retail, and residential installations where visual impact matters.

The base build includes an insulated floating floor system as standard. Wall and ceiling insulation, electrical installation, climate control, plumbing, interior finishes, and branding or cladding upgrades are all available as additional packages. The high cube configuration is also better suited to retrofit insulation packages, as the additional ceiling height accommodates insulation and lining depth without reducing internal headroom below a comfortable working or living height.
